How to Wear Adhesive Backless Bras
These are general instructions for the Tabare Adhesive Backless Bras. These bras are also known as Sticky Bras, Backless Bras, and Alternative Bras.
The bras are reusable, so take your time and learn how to wear them properly. It may take some time to learn and remember to follow the steps for the best results.
Installing
- Your skin must be clean and free from any creams, oils or makeup. You can also use an alcohol-based cleanser or astringent to remove any excess oils from the skin. Allow the cleanser to dry for a few minutes before the install.
- Separate the cups by undoing the clasp or ties from the front of the bra.
- Remove the protective film and add one cup over the correct breast (remember the clasp should be in the center of your chest) in a position that feels comfortable. Most of the bras have a center part that does not have any adhesive for your nipple. Remember: you may adjust a few times to give you the proper lift and shape you require for your outfit.
- Try to fit firmly over your breast and prevent any air bubbles or budges in the bra. Remember it's reusable, so be okay with readjusting. This is the learning process for you.
- Follow the same steps to add the second cup to the other breast and connect the clasp. It may feel awkward when you first start to wear it, but it should never be uncomfortable. If it's not comfortable or too snug, you may need to adjust for your comfort level.
- While wearing it and you feel it separating from your skin, you can always adjust it. To prevent this from happening, make sure the bra is not too tight or worn in a way that may need adjustment.
Adjust as needed:
- If it's sitting too low, you may need to just add it higher on your breast.
- If there's too much space in the center, you may need to adjust the cups from the sides (starting near your arms). The cup does not need to cover your entire breast, you just need it to lift or gather the girls together.
Removing and Caring for Your Adhesive Bra
Removing is similar to installing, but just in reverse. Remember the bra cups are reusable, so DO NOT USE any oils to remove. You do not want to break down the adhesive on the bra.
- You want to release the clasp and gently remove the cups from your breast, starting at the top outer edge of the bra cup.
- Once you remove the bra cups, you can wash them in a mild cleanser like the Bare Cleanser.
- Allow them to air dry with the adhesive side up until completely dry.
- After they are dry, you can add the protective film back to the adhesive side of the cups and store them in the reusable pouch they were shipped in.
