How to Wear Body Tape
Patch Test:
To ensure that you do not have any sensitivity or allergies to the body tape, do a patch test. Before installing your body tape for the first time, cut a small strip about 2cm to test it on your skin. Remove the backing and place it unstretched on your breast area for at least 8 hours. You can use the Removal Oil to remove the Body Tape, by saturating it for a few minutes. If your skin becomes irritated, do not use.
Nipple Protection:
You can use any nipple cover to protect your nipples while wearing the Body Tape. We strongly encourage you to wear the Bare Skins Adhesive-Free Nipple Covers for the best protection and reusability. You can also wear any Disposable Nipple Covers with the Body Tape. This will also help prevent any damage during the removal of the Body Tapes to your very sensitive area.
How to Use Tabare Body Tape:
- Ensure the area where you’ll apply the tape is clean and dry. Avoid using oils, lotions, or powders beforehand, as they can affect the adhesive.
- Measure and cut the tape to your desired length. It’s flexible and can be customized to suit your outfit and body shape.
- Remove the backing from the tape, then gently apply it to the skin. Start installing the tape at the base and smooth it upward or in the direction you need for support. It's best to lift and shape your breast in the position that you would like before sealing the tape to your skin. Apply in sections for larger areas, making sure to smooth out any wrinkles.
- Once in place, press down firmly to ensure the adhesive sticks evenly to your skin.
How to Remove (Bare Removal Oil):
- Application: Squeeze directly onto the adhesive body tape or fabric. You can start at the edges or zig-zag across the fabric and allow it to saturate.
- Wait: Allow the oil to penetrate the body tape or fabric for a few minutes.
-
Remove: Gently remove the tape from the skin.
Other Option for Removal: If you do not have the Bare Removal Oil, we encourage you to use a similar product or warm water. Remember to remove it gently from the skin. DO NOT RIP IT OFF. If the skin is damaged, it may take a few weeks to heal and may leave skin damage.
If you experience any discomfort or your skin itches after use, contact your doctor; you may be allergic to the tape.
Important Tips:
- Use the Bare Adhesive Fabric Scissors to trim the Body Tape after installation. There is a safety bump that prevents damaging your skin.
- Perform a patch test before full application to ensure there are no reactions.
- Do not apply to irritated, sunburned, or sensitive skin.
- Avoid wearing the body tape for more than 8 hours continuously.
